For as long as I have known that this sort of thing has existed, I have sworn that I would not create a blog, or anything resembling one. I figured, and still do, rather, that the entire concept is self-centered, silly, and pointless.

Nevertheless, here we are. I'm standing here, in front of the internet, rather ashamedly. I've caved, and I'm doing this. But, please, note: This is not for you. As a matter of fact, this isn't really for any reason, except as for a personal safety valve. I'll post a lot of things up here, but I don't really intend to tell anyone about this site. I don't want people to read this. I'm just writing for its own sake. And the shit I'm going to spew up here isn't really going to be for the reader's benefit, anyhow. You'll find out more about that later.

Oh, and as for why I'm doing this now? Well, it's a new year, so I figure that's as good a time as any. Those few friends of mine that blog are all off not doing so, so I'm not really able to read and, so I might as well write one. I miss the buzz of activity that usually floats about in my circle online, so I suppose I'm doing this to try and supplement it.

Also, I have an insane amount of other work which I really ought to be doing right now.

My postings will come in bursts. Don't complain. This isn't for you, remember? Hiatuses (Hiatii?) and vacations will not be announced. Also, don't complain about me, despite supposedly being a web designer, using the default MoveableType template. Actually, don't complain about anything. You know what? Fuck you.

I can see this is going to go beautifully.
