It's been a while since I've ventured into the serious sciences (other than my monthly does of Discover) and some of those topics really reminded me of the summer I spent making my way through Greene's Elegant Universe.



I remember the days where I could just sit and think without worrying about whether that time spent thinking was making me or, worse yet, costing me money.



Sigh.
